Tuesday Afternoon Tunes
Gel told me that she now loves Over The Rhine, so here's another for you, girl.
Over The Rhine~Willoughby
Blue October~Drilled A Wire Through My Cheek
Damien Rice/Tori Amos~The Power Of Orange Knickers
GEL had the great idea of getting together on Tuesday afternoons to share some music that we love. I've given the ones I'm loving today here, but if you want to leave links to your 3 songs for Tuesday Afternoon Tunes, that would be great! Go over to GEL's blog and let her know your links too! She would love it!

Robyn,
Thank you! I'm all wired up from insomnia last night, so this is purr-fect to chill, too. Thanks, sweetie! Plus, I'd love to know other music lovers' links. Appreciate this.
Hey, when I looked up "hipcast" I didn't see a free option. If there is one, could you email me that info or if you feel it's worth the fee? Have you used them long? Right now, I'm only using free Youtube links to post, but I'd like to be able to post just audio songs, too.
P.S. You did the linky dink correctly for typepad, at least for my blog, since I "enabled" html. Some people don't allow it. I posted your comment on my Tuesday (evening, this time) post.
Hey girl,
The addy for Hipcast is: http://www.hipcast.com/
They have like a 10 day trial period or something and then after that you have to choose which plan you want to pay for. I only pay $4.95/mo for mine. That's the cheapest one and it works for me so I didn't see why I needed one of the more expensive ones. I love Hipcast. I used to use Castpost. It was free, but it went down all the time and there was no guarantee that you could even upload songs sometimes or if they were uploaded that they would play. Frustration. Hipcast isn't like that though, plus you can make recordings of yourself like when I copycatted you doing your poem. They have podcast options and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't use. lol
Ok once you get to the Hipcast main page, click on Subscribe and then on the left hand side-bar it tells you about the free trial. Their going to ask for a cc or debit card # when you sign up, but they won't charge it for the first 7 days and if you decide that you don't want it, all you have to do is go to the site to cancel.
Thanks for posting my comment and I'm glad I did the hot link right. I usually can do them, I mean have them all over my blog, but since yours is typepad, I wasn't sure if the html was the same. And I'm glad you liked the songs. So far, you're the only one who has replied to this on my blog. I hope some more people do and leave their music links.
I'ma head on over to your blog to see what music you've got going on today.
